My system is a ground mount system using individual inverters on each panel. Absolute explained many advantages that the other two companies weren't conversant on…That was my first clue.
Next thing I couldn't help but notice was how attentive and responsive they were. During the selection process if I had a question they usually would show up to answer, not just send an e-mail…'Another clue.
The pricing of all competitors was within $1-2000 so that wasn't a determinant. The thoroughness of all the paperwork with Absolute was far and away more complete and explanatory than the others. A lot of attention to detail and it made sense, not prompting more questions…That was the final clue to me.
In my case we had to appear in front of the Town conservation commission for approval as I wanted to place my ground mount structure in a wetlands area. Their field engineer Charles Cady, directed the preparation of ALL the paperwork, attended all the hearings and made it happen. We needed to start immediately and finish before the end of the year. We went on-line Dec 27th and I have been producing power at a rate that cut my electric bill in half! And that is under winter time conditions.
